The upcoming 2017 Malaysia Autoshow scheduled for the 9th to the 12th of November 2017 will be quite an interesting event. One of the interesting happenings that is going to happen is the first Malaysian preview of the all-new Land Rover Discovery.
This is Jaguar Land Rover's latest series of their full-sized, seven-seat Land Rover SUV that has been widely accepted globally. It was launched in the UK sometime in September last year and I suppose, while this preview is a bit late, it is better late than never.
As with the previous generation(s), this latest one has been designed with absolute versatility, capability and technology. As it is a Land Rover, there has to be super off-road capabilities, robustness yet it must still be a Land Rover vehicle and provide lots of creature comforts. JLR claims this new one continues the Land Rover ‘Above and Beyond’ legacy and we believe it does!
One more bit of good news is that Jaguar Land Rover Malaysia will also be taking orders for the new Discovery 3.0-litre Diesel at the Malaysia Autoshow event and at their showrooms too. This will be the variants that they will bring in. It is powered by a 258PS 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine which JLR call the 'Td6'. This engine features a single-turbocharger and features low-pressure exhaust recirculation for efficiency and emissions control, a two-stage oil pump and a revised fuel-injector nozzle for improved responses, refinement and efficiency.

The JLR booth will be located at Hall C (Booth No 69) of the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park (MAEPS) Serdang. The upcoming Malaysian Autoshow is promised to be the largest one yet so a lot of events is bound to happen.
